Grace Potter and the Nocturnals - ParisHeard this song in a TV ad just now and remembered their performance on Conan earlier this year. Had never heard of them prior to Conan and was really impressed. Just randomly searched for them on Amazon and the MP3 album was only $5! Woot!

In case you didn’t know: when you hear the phrase “You peaked my curiosity,” the correct spelling is actually “You piqued my curiosity.” A lot of people don’t know it’s an entirely new word in itself. Or you’re too lazy to care. In the case of the latter, you should, um, grow up? Or something.
Fun related fact: I first saw the word “piqued” in a Calvin and Hobbes cartoon. Didn’t know what it meant, so I looked it up. The rest is comic book inspired history.
Calvin and Hobbes is awesome. Someone buy me the boxed collection please.
